Current Events

Our next regular meeting is Tues Sept 6th, 2011,  at 7:30 pm

Dinner and fellowship preceed the meeting at 6:30 P.M.

At our Annual Meeting on April 20th,  Wayne Whitelock was elected Worship Master.  The Fourth degree was Friday April 29th at Aurora Lodge.
 The new officers were installed at our Regular Communication on May 4th.

 The Oddfellows held a Sugar-on-Snow event at our lodge building on Saturday April 23rd from noon to 4:00 p.m.


  Looking better? Yes we put on some white primer on the porch on warm winter days,  to protect the wood, stabilize the peeling lead paint, and to
look better.  Without any scraping much of the old painting is falling off,
and we have vacuumed many bags of it so far, with a HEPA filter of course. 


No degrees scheduled at present.

Porch restoration is our last big piece of the building renovation.  See tabs to right on past and proposals. New temporary wood steps.

Significant work on the building was authorized at the June meeting.

Fried Dough Wagon- Rupert's Wagon- scheduled for Fourth of July parade, Grandmaster's Fair in August, and Craft Fair (Labor Day)

Photos below: MWPGM Edward R Eurich passed away at age 93 on Feb 17, 2010. The Masonic funeral was held Feb 23 at the Waitsfield United Church of Christ.  Remembrance below.  Ed served as Worship Master and as Secretary of Mad River Lodge #77  He was Most Worshipful Grand Master of  Masons of Vermont in 1981-82. He was a 33rd degree Scottish Rite Mason.
